With most of the Apple news this week revolving around the new M3 MacBook Air and Apple’s ongoing app store kerfuffles in the EU, it’s not surprising that Best Buy’s current promos on the HomePod Mini and second-gen HomePod have slipped under the radar. That’s a shame, however, given the smart speakers are on sale for $79.99 ($20 off) and $269.99 ($30 off), respectively, which doesn’t happen often.

Gemini app finally expands to audio files

Google made three major updates to its Gemini-powered products on Monday: The Gemini app now accepts audio files; Search can handle five new languages; and NotebookLM creates reports in the form of blog posts, study guides, quizzes, and more.  According to a Monday post on X by Josh Woodward, vice president of Google Labs and Gemini, audio file compatibility was the “#1 request” to the Gemini app.  Free Gemini users max out at 10 minutes of audio, and five free prompts each day. Everything We Got Out Of Nacon Connect

Earlier today, French publisher, Nacon held their online digital event, Nacon Connect, to give an insight into their upcoming titles and hardware that they were working on. Unlike other gaming events up until now, this one was a standalone event. Meaning, it was not part of the Summer Game Fest. The event had some super cool announcements including RiMS Racing - a motorcycle simulation game with tons of customization options coming out in 2021, Roguebook a roguelike deck-building card game, Tennis World Tour 2 and Warhammer: Chaosbane coming to the next-gen consoles. Not only did Apple announce the brand-new Series 8 , but it also refreshed the SE and unveiled the rugged Apple Watch Ultra . In other words, we have a totally new Apple Watch lineup. The Apple Watch Ultra is the star of the show because it isn’t something we’ve seen before. It’s got a big honking 49mm rectangular display, which... truly is in a class of its own.
