Tech giant Google has announced that Meet calls can now be transcribed into text, and users can further save them in a Google Doc format. According to Android Central, the saved file can be accessed from Google Drive. Google Meet is one of the most popular apps, especially after replacing the Google Duo app for iOS and Android devices. However, Google has stated the new feature that can be accessed in Google Meet for desktop or laptop clients and is available only for the English language. Google said the transcribed file can be stored in the same "Meeting Recordings" folder of the Google Meet app from the accompanying Google Drive storage. Google has launched a new cross-device software development kit (SDK) that allows developers to build apps that work across Android and non-Android devices. The cross device software, compatible till the Android 8 version, is now available with a developer preview for Android phones and tablets, and will arrive later for Android surfaces and non-Android operating systems. Users can also share an app's current state with the same app on another device and start the app on a secondary device without having to keep the app running in background. The initial release contains a set of rich APIs focused around the core functionality of device discovery, secure connections, and multi-device sessions, said the company.  Zomato on Saturday kicked off a pilot test of delivering groceries via Blinkit on its main platform in Delhi-NCR, as the online food aggregator aims to "accelerate" the 10-minute delivery platform's journey to profitability. The pilot test is currently being organised at select circles in Delhi-NCR, and after analysing the response, it will be expanded to other cities as well. "Blinkit tab in Zomato app is currently a pilot running at few locations for a small set of customers. We will share more details on this in due course,"A Zomato spokesperson told IANS. WhatsApp is bringing disappearing messages for iOS to the 2.21.140.9 beta update from Testflight. If you have the same version and yet cannot see or access the disappearing message feature, don’t panic. WhatsApp is rolling out this feature and you’ll get it in the next beta update.  The name of the new feature is officially called “view once.” The beta testers can send photos and videos on WhatsApp that will disappear when viewed once. Both, the sender and the recipient need to have this feature in order for it to work. Meanwhile, disappearing text messages will take 7 days to expire.  WhatsApp’s disappearing text feature is similar to Instagram’s.
