Zombie brand RadioShack is launching a crypto market for ‘the older generation’

RadioShack, the venerable retailer relaunched as an online-focused brand in 2020, now wants to chart a future as a cryptocurrency exchange. Earlier this week, the company announced RadioShack DeFi (short for “decentralized finance”), a market where people can swap newly announced RADIO tokens as an alternative to a centralized exchange like Coinbase. Moreover, RadioShack insists that it’s uniquely positioned to take cryptocurrency mainstream — claiming that “RadioShack, and RadioShack alone, can bridge the gap and ‘cross the chasm’ of mainstream usage for cryptocurrency.”

Google made three major updates to its Gemini-powered products on Monday: The Gemini app now accepts audio files; Search can handle five new languages; and NotebookLM creates reports in the form of blog posts, study guides, quizzes, and more.  According to a Monday post on X by Josh Woodward, vice president of Google Labs and Gemini, audio file compatibility was the “#1 request” to the Gemini app.  Free Gemini users max out at 10 minutes of audio, and five free prompts each day. Hilarious Indian PUBG video goes viral with over 10 million views under 24 hours

The mobile version of Playerunknown's Battleground has become nothing sort of a sensation with over 20 million daily active users from all around the globe. It has been well received in India too, since the country was amongst the top three when it comes to the most number of players in Season 2 of the game. Trailers of the week: Star Trek, Severance, and Gundam
