iPadOS 16 is ‘on its own schedule,’ shipping after iOS 16 this year

Apple has confirmed that iPadOS 16.0 won’t be getting a public release and that the tablet-centered OS won’t be coming out until after iOS starts hitting phones. In a statement to TechCrunch, attributed only to “the company,” it said: “we have the flexibility to deliver iPadOS on its own schedule. This Fall, iPadOS will ship after iOS, as version 16.1 in a free software update.”

Despite Apple traditionally releasing iPadOS and iOS together, it’s always felt like this decoupling was a possibility ever since Apple split out the iPad’s operating system as a separate entity in 2019. Google made three major updates to its Gemini-powered products on Monday: The Gemini app now accepts audio files; Search can handle five new languages; and NotebookLM creates reports in the form of blog posts, study guides, quizzes, and more.  According to a Monday post on X by Josh Woodward, vice president of Google Labs and Gemini, audio file compatibility was the “#1 request” to the Gemini app.  Free Gemini users max out at 10 minutes of audio, and five free prompts each day. Hilarious Indian PUBG video goes viral with over 10 million views under 24 hours

The mobile version of Playerunknown's Battleground has become nothing sort of a sensation with over 20 million daily active users from all around the globe. It has been well received in India too, since the country was amongst the top three when it comes to the most number of players in Season 2 of the game. Trailers of the week: Star Trek, Severance, and Gundam
